Murugan Idli Shop runs a jigarthanda counter near Meenakshi Temple with more seating -- a good option if you want to sit down rather than stand at a counter. The MFJ North Tower Outlet, opposite Meenakshi's North Tower, is the easiest version for tourists to find on a temple-trail route.
It's busiest in the afternoon on hot days -- if you'd rather skip a queue, a morning visit is quicker. As a cool-down stop, it slots naturally before or after a Meenakshi Temple visit.
